This necklace is a true labour of love and a beautiful statement piece! The idea of a lifecycle necklace had been rolling around in my mind for months but I couldn't quite visualise the full piece, until this butterfly season when I saw the green chrysalis with the wings starting to show through. The caterpillar and chrysalis are sculpted from clay then handpainted. The Monarch butterfly I cut from wood myself and, of course, also paint by hand. Being handmade, no two will be exactly the same, so keep this in mind when purchasing. The chain lengths can be customised to your liking, please send me a quick note after purchasing to discuss. Chain coloured in silver, gold, antique bronze, black leather cord or waxed cotton are available. Please specify your choice when ordering. As this necklace is quite complex, please allow 7 days for its creation.
